What is Community Acupuncture?

Licensed Acupuncturist, Noemi Martinez, offers Acupuncture to clients in a community setting. Every treatment is priced on an affordable sliding scale of $25 - $50. New clients pay $50 for their first visit and returning clients pay on the sliding scale, whatever they can afford.  No gimmicks, just high-quality acupuncture from an experienced practitioner. Clients are treated for one or two ailments at a time versus in a private setting where more can be addressed at one time.

New and established clients may walk into the clinic on the first, third and fourth Monday of the month anytime between the hours of 4pm - 8pm to receive a treatment, eliminating the stress of making it to an appointment on time or making an appointment at all.

Community Acupuncture Treatments

Treatments are done in zero gravity chairs in our community room. After a brief initial consultation, the needles will be placed in the appropriate points, most often on the arms, hands, legs, feet, ears and head. You can facilitate the process by wearing loose-fitting clothes which can easily expose the areas from the knees and elbows down. The needles are retained for about 30-45 minutes while you relax.

Acupuncture is a medical modality that is over 3000 years old. Acupuncture has been mostly known for assisting in relief from pain such as headaches/migraines, back pain, shoulder and neck pain, jaw pain, etc, internal medicine problems such as Diabetes, Allergies, High Blood Pressure, Arthritis, etc, insomnia, anxiety, stress, PTSD, depression, pregnancy care through entire pregnancy, fertility, PMS disorders, lack of motivation, fear, grief, hormone imbalances, etc.

Benefits of Community Acupuncture
